You're right, Mike, I was way off on the DOT's vaccination rate. I was also wrong about this affecting all the rest stops. On looking back, I see the article announcing the decision was corrected after publication to indicate that the Bow Hill rest stop was going to be kept open. It's funny -- I could swear I saw it barricaded a couple of weeks ago.

A story on the local radio about snowplowing today said that WSDOT has lost 400 workers, and that plowing may be delayed relative to past years. I suspect the I-5 rest stops might not reopen for some time. Snow is predicted tonight, so be careful if you are driving through the Chuckanuts. That stretch gets slick as snot.
