04 AI courtesy lights

I have an 04 Airstream Interstate that's new to me. There's a light by the side door and at the wet bath. They were on when ever the house battery was engaged. After removing the entertainment center I found mice had chewed on and through some wires. I got that sorted but still had the issues. Digging in deeper (cutting out the back of the overhead storage) I found m more wire destroyed. I repaired that and now the lights are out until I connect the white/black tracer to the negative. Does anyone have a wiring schematic for these rigs? Is there a relay that turns that lights on through the door jam switch? The standard answer on FB is, take it to a shop. I do my own work, it's therapeutic.

Wouldn't airstream provide you with the wiring schematic if needed? I had to diagnose a coachman with Allison transmission and the techs there sent me every diagram I needed in order to solve the issue. Just a thought.

I called Marky Marky dealership today but they returned the call. I'm hoping they can email me the diagram.

If you find a wiring diagram for an AI I’ll be amazed (and in your debt). My 2006 is a mystery. The electrical is now 20 years old and without a diagram I’m considering pulling new wires for the house side.

Airstream did not start including wiring diagrams in the Interstate owner‘s manuals until 2015. If you contact Airstream they might send you the diagrams. I was able to do that on my old 2013 Interstate.

Contact Airstream. They sent me a wiring diagram for an 04 (03 T1N) that helped some. The guy told me that if you ran the wire on Monday and I did it Thursday they may not match up. I'm dealing with MB wiring issues under the hood. That makes the coach look like a single pole switch. If I can find what they sent me I'll post it.

Airstream is notorious for not wiring according to their diagrams. Their wiring quality is definitely substandard. They wire so messy on the production line that it’s a wonder they can even make the systems work. I rewired much of my 2013 Interstate and am now doing the same on my new 2024 Interstate 19.

Airstream just released a 37 page Technical Service Bulletin to fix wiring issues on the 2023 - 2025 Interstates and Atlas coaches.

When I told them I had an 05 they said, we have any prints for someone that old. I said, 2005 not 1965. Not great customer service.
