Replacing float in graywater (greywater?) sensor.

No wonder the floats fall off. The sensor stem has no grove to hold whatever retainer is used. Just held on with tension.
Donor float from sensor purchased for less that $16

Local hardware store didn't have a stainless push nut so I went with a stainless e-clip.
I did cut a slight groove in the stem to capture the e-clip, being careful not to pierce the tube.

After slipping on the e-clip, I slathered with epoxy to hopefully anchor.

The full tank indicator now works for the first time since I owned the Westy!

That’s pretty good info for me.
it is the only indicator that has not worked on mine since I got it…
I will definitely have to wait a while for above freezing temps… but will get into it in the spring.
Thanks !
