Part number is important, its the "84 11"s that are on backorder .

Alright!Surprising update. Part arrived this am and Van is now ready for pick up. Heading down tomorrow to pick it up. Hopefully MBUSA addresses the ridiculous time it took to fix. Glad it came in now and not as communicated Jan 25. I will report back once MBUSA resolves my complaints. At least El Cajon MB has handled it with a good amount of attention to detail.
Picked up the Van late yesterday! Wow have I missed driving it. So good to be back in my own vehicle. Now the Mtn Bike hauler can begin its build out..
I'm in a similar situation, I financed my sprinter through my bank for 5 years. I have one year of payments left and back in November the nox sensor issue happened and I'm still waiting for the part. Almost 2 months. So frustrating. I read the whole thread, I'm glad it finally got resolved for you. After they installed the new sensor did you come across any other problems?I do not have the part number but this is a BRAND New 2021 144 Crew 4cyl Diesel driven off the lot in early Aug with less then 2k miles. And now it is sitting at El Cajon MB and the entire data base claims there is NO Global stock to replace the NOx sensor in this brand new Van. I sold my 2011 after having the AEM repair, now regretting the upgrade to the new van that seems to have NO Warranty Parts Support. Would you knowing purchase anything NEW if you were told that if and when something goes wrong there will be NO parts to fix it. That is my point of posting this. Everyone who is lining up to purchase a NEW van should demand proof that they are going to make Warranty parts available to fix the new purchase or you all will end up like me with a brand new van sitting at the dealer with NO ETA for repair and NO resolution shy of a sorry from MBUSA. They just want to keep shipping new vans to more customers. Well enough problems will creep up and they will have to make a change. WE can all agree our vans are not with out their usual parts needs... this was a simply sensor failure.. we have all had them and not been that mad about it. But everyone will feel the same way if their van goes UNFixed with NO ETA for repair. Thank god its not my only Vehicle. But I bought it to use not for it to sit at the dealer where I paid for it.
I will keep updating as this drags on.
Did you pursue any legal action with MBUSA?Picked up the Van late yesterday! Wow have I missed driving it. So good to be back in my own vehicle. Now the Mtn Bike hauler can begin its build out..
I have to say I met with the Service Manager at pick up and El Cajon has truly done a great job of managing this madness for me. While pissed off about it they are not to Blame. MBUSA on the other hand. I am not done with them. They will need to compensate me for all the time the van has been held hostage. I will update all on the process once it has begun. They can not be allowed to just wash their hands of this.
Thanks for following along... hopefully we all have a better go with any service issues in the near future..
Happy Holidays all! My Christmas Miracle happened and my family is much happier with the van back... my dog had to take a ride in it the moment I pulled home in it..she is so happy to have it back too.
Doubt an attorney will take the case on contingency, just not enough money.Did you pursue any legal action with MBUSA?
Sorry for the slow reply. Van has been great, while I was super frustrated with the delays and time away from my van, in the end the dealership really did take care of me and delivered on the service all while providing me with a Tahoe to drive. The rental cost the dealer 4K when I dropped of the car so I had a small amount of respect for the service that they did provide me.I'm in a similar situation, I financed my sprinter through my bank for 5 years.
