After over 3,000 miles the last few weeks would like to determine cost and feasibility of replacing the manual seats with power seats. For the driver it would be safer to be able to adjust the seat while driving. The co-pilot would like the same and with possibly a swivel. I'm assuming that like cars the power wiring is in place - maybe just a fuse to install. To keep the cost down I'm thinking salvage yard.

Thoughts?

T1N's never came with power seats so there will not be any wiring in place.

You will have to find switches and wire everything up yourself if you do try to swap in other seats.

Phooey on the wiring. The CEO was discussing buying a bare Sprinter on the trip and having me do the outfitting but my extra garage only has 7'9" door clearance so even with the wheels removed and put on dollies it wouldn't roll in.

Thanks. We'll stick with what we have.
