Looking for a AGM to Lithium specialist in the LA area

Hey...

I'm looking to change up my two 12v 100ah AGM batteries for four 12v 100ah Lithium batteries. My Sprinter is already wired up, I just want to upgrade the system. Everyone I'm calling is either backed up or only works on specific vans.

Thoughts?

Hi, what charging system components do you have?
On a 2017 sprinter I have the following:
  • Victron 150|45 tr
  • Victron BMV-712
  • Wired for the following charging systems
    • Alternator
    • Shoreline
    • Solar
  • Batteries
    • I can either supply the batteries or purchase from the installer if the price is close to what my cost currently is
    • Currently the batteries are mounted outside of the van, I would like to put the new lithium setup inside the van
      • Option a - under the sofa inside the van
      • Option b - in the back garage area
That's pretty much all I know about this system. I'm more than happy to show it to you if you're the installer that would be working on it. Thanks for the immediate help on this!

Hi, I'm not an installer...
Your Victron's can be reconfigured to use a lithium charging profile... If you aren't able to do yourself, I'd recommend finding a local Victron dealer for the installation and configuration.

I've been reaching out and I've been getting how busy people are right now and how they can't do it. Was wondering if there was a community here that had a specific shop in mind in the Los Angeles/OC/Inland Empire area.

It might be easier to find a marine electrician to do that for you vs an RV / van upfit shop.

Pretty much any boat / marine shop.

Place an adv on craigslist and request someone that is a marine electrician.

The only real difference between a van and a boat electrical system is that vans are usually more simplistic.
