Default Rear seat mounts in cargo and crew

Can someone who has pulled their floor in an NCV3 tell me if the M12 nuts are installed in the chassis under the marked (but unused) seat mount locations?

I have a 2014 Crew. I pulled and sold the rear bench seat. The floor/chassis has a pair of M12 nuts welded in the floor under each seat mounting bracket. So I'm wondering if the same nuts are present in the other two more rearward "potential" seat locations in my crew where seats/brackets were not mounted.

I have a 2014 crew as well. I know the nuts are at least there for the second row of seats. The nuts were there, but the holes were not. Using these 2d drawing:https://www.upfitterportal.com/en-ca...ings/2d/page/3
I drilled the holes 858mm behind the front bench mount holes with a step drill; being careful not to damage the threads on the nut. Worked perfectly.

Precise! Thanks for the info. Nice photo of the nut, too (not an easy angle to get a well-lit, in-focus shot).

When I look through those 2D drawings, all I can find are the exterior dimensions and some minor interior dimensions like the wheel wells. Where are finding dimensions like the seat mount spacing?

Using AutoCAD, I measured 858mm between the front 2 benches and 850mm between the second and third (hard to believe that these are different measurements). Ended up being spot-on for me. Good luck!

Ah, so the DXF files obviously have far more detail in them than the PDFs?
Can you recommend any free/easy SW to view DXF files? I don't have autocad or similar.

DXF file viewing software is almost by definition not easy, but I can give you free...
https://inkscape.org/en/

It's a vector graphics editor. It's less designed for CAD than for visual design, but it should at least show you the file (haven't checked with the MB DXF files being referenced here though).

I have just ordered a 2016 4x4 Cargo. A friend has a bench seat and the floor brackets and hardware from a 2014 Crew I may pick up for future flexibility options. Being somewhat of a Luddite and trying to avoid the DXF files, I thought I'd ask in this thread if anyone knows if the M12 nuts (first post in thread) are installed in the Cargo vans as well.

Another friend has moved his 2015 crew bench back one row and found the nuts by info in this thread I believe. He is pretty certain the cargo vans should have the nuts as well but suggested I look around the forum here. This is my first post. Thanks!

Your friend is wrong. The Cargo van will not have the nuts. However a Cargo van with the OEM crew seat option will have the nuts.

I also have just ordered a 2016 4x4 cargo. I want to add one rear seat with 3 point seatbelt. I want to locate it on the RHS in front of a 6ft (front-to-back) platform bed. Ideas on a suitable (comfortable) seat and a safe/secure way to do this would be much appreciated. Thank you.
