Default Step Bumper

I was able to buy a step bumper with bracket for cheap. Installation required grinding off the supports from the bracket and swapping the left and right sides and welding it back in place. If the supports aren't swapped, the trailer hitch bracket will be in the way.
I thought it looked really good and covered the hitch nicely. The end of the receiver was not too far back to interfere with a hitch mounted bike rack.

I also got an aluminum box from a military surplus store. Test painted it silver with a black cover to see how it looks. It added much needed storage capacity.

The storage box, step bumper gave me an unintended benefit. A way to carry a 10x10 canopy! I simply put it on top of the step bumper and secured it to the storage box and spare rack. Works really well!
