Im trying to replace an AC compressor and I'm the mechanic I can afford. I just got started and am already stuck by a bolt I have never seen before. Does anynody know what this is?

I'm not sure which bolt you mean, but I see some E-torx heads in the picture. The sockets for them should be fairly easy to find.

You'll need a Torx socket set http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...r&clicked=true

Thank you.... It looked like a proprietary bolt and I tried a Torx and removed it. This might be my first successful AC repair... I'll know in the morning when I finish...
