S SullyVan 2005 T1N Conversion Jun 23, 2013 #2 this is t1n talk, but on the older sprinters, there are flat pieces of metal on each end of the battery that act as a clamp to hold the battery. Not sure if the new ones are the same, but it wasn't initially obvious to me.
