Default Replace Espar furnace vent

Hi all,

Does anyone have a source for a replacement louver vent (the one behind the driver's seat) for the diesel furnace? Our van sometimes gets used for moving and it got smashed.

Many thanks,

Ted

Hi Ted,
I don't know where you'd get one, but I guess you could take the one from under the kitchen cabinet (hidden mostly), use that, then find another vent cover of some type to use in the kitchen. I'd also suggest you browse HVAC equipment on the internet; there are some high velocity heating systems that use something like this (I think).

Best,

Mogul haa good idea and less air obstruction if no louvers. Try searching for Eberspacher, Espar or Webasto air or grill outlet like these:

https://www.heatso.com/webasto-air-outlet-60mm-black/

https://www.heatso.com/webasto-90mm-outlet-45-black/

https://www.heatso.com/eberspacher-g...t-30deg-black/

https://www.heatso.com/webasto-45deg...h-backing-nut/

https://www.heatso.com/webasto-air-o...-90mm-ducting/

Don't know what diameter is measured.

Interestingly, on the Airstream Parts Manual, the rectangular plastic ductwork through the van floor is a Mercedes part.

Please post whatever you find. Thanks.

I was gonna suggest marine suppliers, like Defender and West Marine. Defender carries Wesbasto stuff, but Old West beat me to it, as usual.

Thanks to all for your help.

The links above probably would have worked, but I tracked down the original part from an outfit in Seattle. It is Webasto W107-976, 80mm grille with straight louvers: http://www.suremarineservice.com/Hea.../W107-976.html

You get two pieces. 1) is the duct that is held to the trim by three screws. 2) is the snap-on ring with grille. I only needed the latter.

I ordered the 45-degree version first and called them to change the order. The man said the 80mm ducting hasn't been used in about 20 years.

The outer diameter of the duct is 80mm.

I don't know if you can get these parts separately, but the number for the grille itself is Webasto 495.433 and the duct is 495.425.
