Presumably, you're talking about the dashboard temperature (the central computer console was not hooked up to a temp sensor but awhile ago there were posted instructions on how to connect one).
The Sprinter temp sensor snaps into a little hole in the front bumper chrome shiny plastic license plate at the bottom. Check to see if it's there or flopping around under the front bumper. If temp reading is inaccurate before driving, the sensor might need to be replaced. If temp is inaccurate while driving (hotter or cooler???), is it properly located? Apparently, defective temp readings cause engine running problems. These are helpful threads: https://sprinter-source.com/forum/sh...rature+reading https://sprinter-source.com/forum/sh...rature+reading https://sprinter-source.com/forum/sh...rature+reading https://sprinter-source.com/forum/sh...rature+reading https://sprinter-source.com/forum/sh...rature+reading https://sprinter-source.com/forum/sh...rature+reading Be careful that folks are talking about the bumper ambient temperature sensor for dashboard and not other temp sensors like for the turbo air intake. Folks have apparently replaced (part # was listed in one post) or connector corrosion issues addressed. Please post whatever you find or do. Thanks. |
