Question Durability of CRL Sprinter Windows

Just wondering if there is a difference in durability of the CRLawrence Full Cut (all glass look) T-Vent Windows versus the Short Cut T-Vent windows, especially 2WD going "off-road"

They are what they are. Not as heavy duty as the stock ones. I only put one on the drivers side as I feel that it is exposed to less abuse than being on a slider that gets slammed all the time. The other plus of the drivers side is that someone cant force up a T-vent and have easy access to your door lock. I wouldn't worry about it as far as off road.

Thanks for this. I think we would want 3 windows for airflow, one behind driver and two in the rear quarter panels. Seems like the full cut is a lot of glass to potentially break/chip with rocks and uneven surfaces.

Tern overland offers operable Windows that aren’t the full glass deal

Terra wagon offers OEM MB European full glass Windows with an integrated slider...no screen though.

There’s a fake version in USA now too. https://sprinterupgrades.com/product...nt=48401753927

Hehr makes full glass t-vent windows that are higher quality than CRL, and also harder to source.

We had CRL on our old 144” located on slider and behind driver. Quality wasn’t great, the mechanized, felt like it’d break off internally at some point. Major cons: the slider window has only one flap that opens, one flap is fixed, and the flap, that does open is the easiest way to break into a sprinter, I’d skip installing one again just based on that.
