Default Seat restoration

2003 Passenger van, 170,000 miles

Any suggestion where to have the passenger seat rebuilt? The foam padding seems to have lost its cushion. Oddly, the driver seat (which must have more wear on it) is much better.

Default Re: Seat restoration

Most metro areas will have a few upholstery shops, usually specializing in customs, restoration etc. If you take your seat complete, or sometimes just the foam and covers, they can rebuild the foam. If its not totally gone they will cut new sections and bond it together. Otherwise they can make a new cushion. They will need the covers for size reference.

It is pretty typical work, so a competent place should have no trouble.

I suspect your drivers and passenger side bottom cushions have been swapped at some point.

I have never looked, but the dealer parts network may have new cushions.
