https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...591241447.html

2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 144 WB Crew Van high roof van conversion w/ 68,000 miles.
188 hp horsepower, 3 liter V6 DOHC turbo diesel engine, 4-wheel ABS brakes

Materials list for conversion:

Insulation
- Reflectix (double reflective insulation, roof and walls of living area)
- Full double reflectix insulation on roof, walls, doors, and floor $150
- FatMat Self-Adhesive throughout $90
- Thinsulate SM 600 throughout (including cab) $600
- R-Max 1/2 rigid foam insulation and Trafficmaster Polyethylene Foam Underlayment under floor in living area $120

Fridge
- ARB Fridge 37 Quart $845

Stove
- Camp Chef Everest High Output 2 Burner Stove $99
*When Designing the van I opted to get the camp stove to have the flexibility of cooking inside and outside. It's worked out really well so far by decreasing the amount of lingering food smell making it easier to clean up. It also provides a lot more counter space compared to a permanent stove. However, with the the current configuration it would be quite simple to install permanent stove.

Faucet
- Valterra RP800 Chrome Rocket Hand Pump $37
- MR Direct 1815 18-Gauge Undermount sink $97
- 5 gallon water tank $20
- 5 gallon grey water tank $20
*I opted to go with the 5 gallon "Jerry cans" to have greater flexibility where I could fill up and dump water. The plastic tanks have simple detachable fittings which makes it easy fill or dump water.

Fuse box
- Blue Sea Systems ST Blade Fuse Block. $32

Inverter
- KRI╦GER 1100 Watt 12V Power Inverter Dual 110V AC outlets and 2 USB outlets $84

Multimeter

Solar
Renogy 200 Watt 12 Volt Monocrystalline Solar Starter Kit with Wanderer charge controller and custom roof mount. Solar panels $340, Install $900

2 120V outlets
- 12V socket outlet connected to deep cycle battery.

Deep Cycle battery
- Lifeline GPL-8DL $699
*Due to this heavy duty battery I have never ran out of power (even when running a small space heater over night).

Roof Fan
- MaxxAir 00-07500K MaxxFan Deluxe with Remote + install supples $420

Toilet
- Dometic 301097202 Portable Camp Toilet: $160
*I opted to put in a portable toilet for those times when you need to to use the bathroom, but can't/don't want to the leave the van. The toilet has actually never been used.

- New Toyo Open Country A/T II LT245/75R16 all season/all terrain tires recently purchased from Les Schwab. $1080
https://www.lesschwab.com/tires/prod...country-a-t-ii

*Teak oiled T&G Cedar paneling

* Hemlock solid and plywood framing/structure
* Pine counter top with Spar Varnish
Heavy duty vinyl flooring

Wiring was all done using properly crimped connections with heat shrink tubing
Roof penetrations double sealed.
Total install labor cost: $18,000

Some install was done by myself, but the majority was designed/installed by a local cabinet maker/contractor. He does excellent work and has agreed to potentially consult and/or work with any future owners of the van. I love talking about the design and process that went into building out this van. However, I do not have time to meet with individuals wanting to design/build their own camper van. Most of my design inspiration and ideas came from folks at www.sprintervandiaries.com. They had a design and setup that worked with my specifications. I've owned the van for 2 years and have an amazing time traveling around in it. I hope someone will be able to enjoy it as much as I have. Contact me with any questions.
Thanks
Stephen
