Is anyone knows why RV manufacturer arenít using the Cutaway 170" sprinter 4500 12125 pounds GVWR yet.
The payload:
3500 6246dpounds

GVWR
3500 : 11030
4500: 12150

GCWR same for both 15250

Good question. The initial versions had a 65 mph speed limitation, but I think that got eliminated for USA/Canada models. Only the RV companies can answer this. I thought Mercedes brought out a 4500 model with higher GCVWR for the RV Industry.

Do they come with different differentials?
Payload capacity can be easily increased by air helper bags, timbrens or additional springs.

4.182 standard
3.923 AR2 optional.

Officially, nothing increases the GVWR.
