Default Transit time from VPC to dealership

Hi all, I’m trying to get an idea of when my sprinter should arrive at my dealership in Santa Rosa. The salesman told me my van dropped into his inventory 6 days ago. The VPC is Long Beach. Any help appreciated!

mackai,
Did your dealer say specifically that your Sprinter was being processed at the new VPC in Long Beach, CA?
Could be a few days, could be longer depending on which VPC and the mode of shipment.
Some vehicles from the VPC in Long Beach have been trucked to a distribution point in/near San Bernardino
before they get loaded on the delivery trucks to the dealers.
Very hard to tell.
Been There......Done that....I followed my last Sprinter all the way from Dusseldorf to Bremerhaven to some east coast
ports then to the VPC in Ladson, SC near the port of Charleston, SC. Then through the import process in Ladson.
It showed up at the dealers about 15 weeks later.

Yes - it says on the updated invoice 5/30/19 that the VPC is Long Beach

Took my van about one week to move from Long Beach to San Diego. Another day for local processing.

Is there a way to follow the progress? I’ve called the VPC and they can’t give me any info

Not for me. Salesman does not know but said most show up in 5-7 days. I actually spotted my van in processing lot day before salesman called. Climbed over and under it to inspect. Salesman knew nothing until processing staff dropped it off.

I’ve got a camping trip on the 14th that I’d like to have it for. That’s why I’m trying to track it down

I would expect it soon. Probably multiple rigs headed to SF Bay area every day loaded with vehicles from Long Beach. If you lived in Chipmunk Hollow then it might be longer.

Mackai, Was your sprinter built in Düsseldorf or Carolina?
