Default P0101 code New sensor adaptation

P0101 error code

2014 6 cylinder

I replaced the MAF sensor, But when the problem didn’t clear up I looked here and found that the new sensor has to be adapted. I don’t know what that means or how to do it. I use OBD fusion for my code reader, and I know that some of these apps are able to adapt new sensors. Don’t think this one can, but if anyone knows better than I do, please let me know how.

My only other option is to try to find someone with the right equipment to do it. But I live pretty far out in the desert and while there are a couple places that will work on Mercedes, they absolutely will not touch a sprinter.

So I’m stuck in limp mode and really need to get this taken care of before it starts freezing because I need my house to be mobile.

Any ideas or advice?

Check out this thread to find a Chinese STAR clone. I have one, but I'm in Philadelphia, so it's kinda far. Maybe you'll find someone closer.

Tried the link. Could not get the map to work? Or I donít think I did? Only showed two points of reference in Texas and Arizona I think.

Wonder if the AUTEL AP200 could adapt the sensor ?

It has some bidirectional communication capabilities.
