That must be the combination I was thinking of.

I believe that if you remove both the Dodge emblem and the surrounding black plastic trim, you'll find a circular recess in the sheet metal where the round Mercedes (and Freightlinter, but you're not looking at that option) badge would fit. So all you'd need is the Mercedes logo and not the replacement trim.

The trim on the Mercedes-badged vans is to make things look better with the window installed. Without the window, the trim around the badge isn't necessary.

Which silver trim piece are you specifically looking at here?

Europarts has most of the bits you'd need to convert the badging to Mercedes

Grille and valance (although they won't ship the valance)

Hood emblem

Alloy wheel center caps:

(There are a couple other versions if you scroll down)

Steel wheel covers

or

Rear logo

I didn't find the steering wheel logo on their site.

If you're looking for really cheap, you might try a local junk yard.

I mean the headlight surround piece, which is body painted. I’m not interested in wheel covers or hub covers so that’s easy.

Okay I found a grille but not the trim valance thing. Does anyone know a way to source one for cheap? I’m okay with black.

Not sure if it fits your definition of cheap.

That’s not too terrible. I’d define that as “not cheap, but fair” Thanks!
I’m going to see what it looks like with the merc grille in the dodge surrounds, maybe it will be fine without this piece. I’m going to be building a metal bumper anyway with winch so I may not need it.

The Merc grille is shorter than the Dodge grille. It attaches to this filler piece, which attaches to the places where the Dodge grille attached. Without it, the bottom of the Merc grill will be flapping in the wind. Or at least be uncomfortably loose.
