Default Recoating Steps on 2006 GW Sprinter

The surface on the steps of our Sprinter is cracked and exposing the underlying surface. I would like to apply a new surface. Any suggestions?

I went on eBay and bought a roll of anti-skid tape that was big enough to cut the pieces to fit on the steps. Then I used a heat gun (be careful) to take the old anti-skid off and use as a template to cut new pieces.

I picked up some 3M "Safety Walk Slip Resistant Step and Reflective Tread 6 in. x 2 ft." from Home Depot. Works good and has lasted several years with no problems and the yellow pin stripe adds a little flair ;-)
