Thanks for the reply. A Dorman turbo resonator is still double the price of this one, and I like to be able to hear the turbo.

I too ike the "chirp" of the turbo so I know when it is wound up, I don't find it too loud or annoying to me and am glad I don't have to be fixing a blown-out turbo resonator on a long trip or on the side of a road! Fix it and forget ir!

I have this installed on my van, 10k miles later so far so good. Just keep your old resonator just in case but man, its only and aluminium tube with a bracket...

Great to hear, that was my assumption but didn't know about the quality of the welds. I'll be sure to keep the stock one in my parts box just in case

There may be owners who love their turbo whine, but for certain there are people who have paid the long dollar for the billet aluminum resonator replacement, hated the noise enough that they removed that expensive part to keep as a spare and went back to a real resonator.

I believe that some have needed to reuse the OEM rubber seal part.

Personally I can barely hear my turbo (which is a plus for me)my wife who is passenger more than me, says since the dorman went in she can hear the turbo more than before. I don’t remember the interior of the OEM being significantly different than the Dorman, but it is possible the Dorman dampens the sound a bit less than OEM.

Default $23 Turbo Resonator Eliminator, has anyone tried it?

Received the package today 1/21 after ordering on 1/17, came from New Jersey. Fastest shipping Iíve ever seen on AliExpress. Came with a hose clamp but no new rubber gasket. Anyone have a part number, or just reuse their old ones?

Attached some pictures, will hopefully install once the weather is bearable Adjustments.jpg

I just use the old one.. haven’t seen that seal degrade to the point where it needs to be replaced. Although I guess it could.

I like to lather some atf or motor oil on it prior to installation
