I did not use Rivnuts. Used Penn Engineering inserts. Drilled 11/32" hole.

Thanks for sharing your awesome, and scientific, method. I can see how this would eliminate hit-or-miss, trial and error shots at leveling. Get it right and go do something fun! Now I just need to convince DH

I use the iWoMoSet app on my iPhone. It calculates the amount you need to add under any given wheel to get level. Choose between inches or centimeters. I think the iPhone app was about $3, not sure if it's out for Android phones.

Unfortunately, our dumb phones won't do this, but I will add this to my list of reasons to get a smart phone (thus far, not a very long list).
