Default Oil Filter Removal Tool for TIN Sprinter

Went to do an Oil change today and borrowed a friends removal tool, it was damaged and had to do repairs.

Plan to buy my own just querying the size. I measured 76mm across, with the 14 Flutes, as against the 74mm measurement in the add below.

Whats the correct measurement.

Thanks

If memory serves, it's 74 mm (it took me 2 or 3 returns to the store to get the correct one)
(it might even want to be 74.5mm, my 74 was a tight fit)

Looking up the tool's UPC (see photo below) finds that it's a:
"Hopkins Flotool 10607b/12 Super Graphite Filter Wrench #7 Size"

I found two listings on Amazon, ... same Amazon item, merely US/Canadian listings:
https://www.amazon.com/d/Oil-Filter-...ite/B000EGZ5EG
https://www.amazon.ca/Hopkins-10607B.../dp/B000EGZ5EG

They both have the same review: the socket hole can strip out (i didn't have that problem, but you could "help" the plastic knob with an external gripper (slip-jaw pliers)).

--dick (i have a fits-the-forum photo of my wrench, with dozens of part numbers on it. None of them clearly state the *size*)

I have just measured my Genuine MB filter removal tool, Part number 103 589 02 09 00, and it measures 74.5 mm across flats inside and has 14 flats.
