Default 2019 maybe 2020 ordering

I am looking at trading in my 2014 passenger to order a 2019 passenger. After talking to the wife I think we are going to wait for the 2020s. Is there a US dealer that is better than others? Are there any incentives? What should I beware of? I am looking at doing at least the C00, CO1, CO2, CO3, X68, X13, X70 and X71 packages. Should I go for the X11 air condition package? I want to do the 1500 as I really didn't see any major differences between it and the 2500.

Figure base price of 48990 For 2500, for 1500 40,196.
VF4: 400
C00: 710
C01: 1140
CO2: 1240
CO3: 2530
X67: 270
X68: 1610
X13: 1520
X70: 1540
X71: 1520

Should land me around 61,470 plus fees for the 2500, for the 1500 with the I4 would be 52,676. Thoughts?

Having some trouble figuring this all out and what the final build price would be. I don't tow very often if at all so I don't see the need for the V6 diesel. I currently have the V6 diesel but with the new transmissions I don't think I will notice much of a difference. My apologies for starting another thread in the wrong section. This is more appropriate here. Thanks

After a bit more research it seems that the I4 is gas. For my use it would be fine as it seems the MPG is about the same between the I4 and the diesel V6. But honestly I am not finding much info that states what everyone is averaging in a passenger van.

I'm in the same boat. Finding a C03 will be very tough. I'm still waiting on delivery of mine as it is stuck at the in Charleston.

PM me and we can talk in more detail if you like.

I just found this rare unicorn but it is a diesel and 170". I want a 140"

I know someone who has an allocation for a 144" gas that you could likely build-out. I prefer diesel so I passed on it.

What makes it "rare unicorn"?

That one is pretty far out of my price range but I do appreciate the looking out. I will likely order next year when I get back to the states that way I can go in with my wife and make sure we get everything we want. I am looking to the 1500 route rather than the 2500. The 2500 is more than what I need. 99% of the time I will be hauling the wife and kids I got 7 and 1 on the way. 2 of the kids are out of the house but that still leaves 6 to transport with a few still in car seats. We loved our 1st sprinter which was a 2008 2500 170" that was custom out for a country music band. Then the 2014 has served us well but I really cant pass up the mass improvements on the 2019.
When you ordered did you put money down? I am wondering how much I need to set aside to ensure the ordering goes off without a hitch.

My dealer wanted 10% down, no negotiating, but this was for a 4x4.

We only put $1000 down for a custom 170 Diesel fully loaded...but we have purchased 9 cars from our dealer. Build date is August 1. We ordered back in January.

Thanks for the info. Looks like the build to bang date is a bit longer than I expected. Even so, I will still look to do up a build and wait. Thanks
