Question Europarts-sd issues?

I ordered a small pile of parts from them and everything showed up quickly.
One part was not OEM but Begel Germany... which wasn't listed on their site.

It's the lower strike plate for the rear door. I tried to install it and turns out it doesn't fit... it's both not long enough and the pins are in the wrong place. So I went to remove it and the pins snapped off in a couple of places. It's made of a very hard and inflexible plastic, much unlike the original.

Anyhow, so I reach out via the "contact us" form on their site to discuss it but no response. Tried again a few days later, still no response. Tried emailing twice, no response. I call and just get "your call cannot be completed at this time" for days now. So I'm 3 weeks in and can't get a hold of them. Worst case, I'm out $40 but it's both the frustration and the principle of the matter. That and I've got more parts I'd like to order but won't until we can at least discuss this.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? Anyone know another way to reach them?
I know they have a great reputation here and really, my issue is with a product, not them, but I can't reach anyone to discuss it.

Thanks!

Not at all the same for me!!! They have been very responsive.

What contact phone number(s) and e-mail addresses have you been trying?

There are similar named sites which are not Europarts SD (Europarts San Diego) http://europarts-sd.com/

These are NOT Europarts SD.

I assumed as much since they get universally great reviews here. I'm just running out of options.

I started by filling out their form here: http://europarts-sd.com/contact-info.asp
After that got me no response, I tried: orders@europarts-sd.com which was where they had originally emailed my order from and is their paypal address, so presumably they get email there.

So I tried the phone number listed in the first link. Phone: 858 451 0020
But it will not ring through. Just "your call cannot be completed at this time"

Maybe the shop is closed for a summer vacation and I have bad timing.

The europart-sd dude is kind of crabby but he does offer good prices and availability. I have always emailed him and he responds back in a day or two - but my inquiries involved a potential sale or part applicability errors.

I've ordered from them a few times with no issues but EVERY time I've tried calling I get the same response as you did- "your call cannot be completed at this time"

Sent a link to this thread to e-sd and hope they will respond. To date they have been 100% reliable and responsive to me so I figure I owe them that courtesy.

These two numbers are slightly different. looks like someone is off by a digit. It should be 858 451 0020. I have had good service from Europarts-SD

Patience is a virtue. So is a correct number. haha

The few times I have used them, the service has been top of the line. Having them a half hour away ain't too shabby either. If they don't answer, try to remember they have lives just like we do. The savings is well worth whatever we have to put up with if they happen to not respond immediately. Peace out.
