Yes it is a nightmare, Ive actually had a few bad nights sleep over this matter, waking up in the middle of the night etc and appreciate all the feedback from you guys here, its comforting to know I am not alone in my love of my van
Ive spoken to a several of my workmates who are either mechanics or are mechanically minded and the general consensus is the dodgy mechanic who changed my alternator must have shorted something
I'm going out there tomorrow to have my van towed to Sultans at Warwick Farm and if the dodgy mechanic refuses to pay for the repairs I will start to name and shame him, so standby for more details....
