Very interesting. It sounds like maybe they are having phone issues and I will keep trying.

It's certainly not about them answering the phone or not, I haven't once gotten it to ring.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone and the assistance.

I can only echo the good reviews. I am ordering from them since years, and are always pleased.

Well I'm about to give up. I still can't get through on the number, email or webform.
I'm sure there is a valid reason for the silence but it's not leaving me feeling so great as a customer.
If anyone happens to speak to someone there, please let them know something is up with their phone and email.

I have had a 100% success rate ordering from them, however, about six months ago I tried to contact them with similar results. (over both phone and email.) Ended up answering my own question so I gave up contacting them. Seems like listed contact info on the site must be incorrect.

Just a quick update.

I needed stuff and I decided to try a new tactic by making another order but in the notes, I asked them to call me. That was last night (July 4)
I did get a call back first thing this morning and within minutes of getting a note that my order had shipped.

We talked, turns out business is super busy as mentioned above and I guess they weren't even aware of phone error message vs busy signal.

Good but quick talk. They have had issues with this product but the correct one is coming soon. We reached an agreement that is good for both of us on how to handle the bad part.

All is well and my faith is fully restored.

It just shows that you can do everything right in business and still have big hiccups from customer perception. I do hope they get the phone issues addressed and that they continue to grow.

I am once again a happy customer and will order more from them shortly.

I just tried to order something online from them. The address on my card and my shipping address are not the same. When I try to change one on their site, it automatically changes the other (and the other way round). I tried calling the number mentioned above, no answer, no recording, nothing. I just sent them an email. They are apparently closed on Saturdays and Sundays, so I guess I'll have to wait till Monday. My first impression of them is not good. It seems they could at least have an answering machine that lets you know what is going on and takes a message. Add that to the billing function on their website that's not working. Meanwhile, I'll try to find the part elsewhere.

after 12 years of using europarts-sd , I have concluded that aftermarket parts are more prone to failure and that europarts doesn't value my repeat business.

Every time I have ever needed quality factory parts from Europarts SD, I have never experienced any problem. Maybe I have been lucky with whatever the time was when I called.

Europarts SD does not sell substandard parts. That is what their reputation has been based upon, that and their prompt response to get parts shipped the same day if possible and if they are in stock.

Sorry that some have had a completely different impression of their business practices. They are a family owned and run business, so there could have been a reason why ones experience could have been different from what I have seen every time I have called them.

Everyone has other options, and that is good for the market place.

Happy Veterans Day to those who chose to defend our nation. The deserve all of our blessings.

Thanks all for the input. I'd like to use them. It's just a bit strange they don't even have voicemail or a recording that tells me their operating hours. That's a big mistake in today's competitive market. Meanwhile, I'll look at the other options (thanks bill in tomahawk) and perhaps reach out to Europarts on Monday. They seem to be very popular on this site. Getting things shipped here (Homer, AK) is a challenge. I need to replace my glow plugs and controller ASAP (yesterday?). (8 inches snow last night:-))
