Default 2013 itasca reyo bad windshield wiper motor

Just a little over 4500 miles on the rv and the wiper motor not working.Drove 6 hrs through rain snow and ice beginning in pennsylvania and through ohio.RV dealer in ohio could do nothing so had to wait till i got back to n.j. Thank God no more bad weather driving home from illinois to n.j.Dealer had motor when i got back so low and behold installed it and still not working. They said it was a wiring issue and had to take it to mercedes.Well after spending 6 hrs at the dealer in n.j. off to devon, pennsylvania to mercedes dealer to tell me the new motor is bad! They said there was a crack in the stator, what a bummer!!So now dealer in n.j. has to order another and ship it to the mercedes dealer in pennsy. Been without now for 4 weeks and am not a happy camper.Anyone else with the same ISSUE?

Is that wiper motor a Winnebago part or an MB part?

The motor is a winnebago part and is covered under warranty. Since the second motor was installed at the winnebago rv dealer and did not work, the techs were scratching their heads and thought it was some kind of wiring problem or a module of some sort. Low and behold they told me it was a mercedes issue since all the wiring to the motor is mercedes.Well mercedes found the second wiper motor was defective and 3 weeks still no motor home!! Motor should be in monday morning.

I find it quite odd that you would get a new one with a broken part. Whenever that has happened to me, it turns out to be a bad mechanic.

Why does Winnebego supply windshield wiper motors? This seems a bit strange.

Are we talking about the front windshield or some add on rear window wiper?

Icarus, the VIA/Reyo is built off of basically a bare Sprinter chassis. The F50 chassis. There is no firewall/windshield area when they get it, hence, a Winnebago wiper setup
