Ah Ha the most iconic of French vans, but while it pays homage to the H series the beam rear axle limits its rear suspension ingenuity!

The authentic van had single trailing arms at hub level and with Dioresse suspension legs the rear of the van dipped down to almost a ramp like level!
Which of course is nothing like the new rendition you have posted, (although attractive enough for Euro-Francophile like me!

I used to work a lot on these at Garage Dalle Freres in Roncq 59 as an exchange student at Lille U in the 70's.

Having an eternal penchant for French ladies here is Sophie Marceau and a Citroen of a different era Oh la la!

Ah Catrinel Menghia , an instant double like my second eldest daughter Savanna.
Showed this to my wife who said "Silly girl can't find the clutch & gears!"

Then I showed her this.

I got "TYPICAL Latin men SOOH unreliable "!

You're a good man, Dennis.

I'll argue with you all day long on politics in the DZ, but you're a good man.

There is a story behind this, which I won't divulge on a public forum, but the USA and its GENEROUS immigration rulings made a lot of things possible.
USA.
