Do you mean fogs in the Fender/bumper or in main headlights.

Previous thread. https://sprinter-source.com/forum/sh...ing+fog+lights

These are the headlights with built in fogs. (note these are for RH drive not LH drive vehicles) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mercedes-...53.m1438.l2649

Or an after market fog which doesn't need a new fender/bumper, just cut out the blanks. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MERCEDES-...53.m1438.l2649

These are what I have had my eye on:

https://www.ledcom.co.uk/daytime-run...black_textured

They also have an Ebay store.

The problem for me is that they don't ship outside of what looks like the EU and the UK. Nothing to the United States. Any UK members have an idea why this may be and possibly how I could get a set?

Do you want DRL's or Fog Lights?

IMO DRL's are NOT suitable as Fog Lights because the light is dispersed in an uncontrolled manner and will cause glare in the fog.

Ledcom is basically a one man band company, with low production volumes, products are well made and work, but he can't be arsed with complications of overseas shipments/custom declarations etc.

Try contacting him directly he might be prepared to do a one off shipment to USA.

Good question - I guess what I'm really after is a physically low down LED lamp that I can control the brightness on to use as sneak lights when entering campgrounds well after dark. And - MB has put the large DEF tank behind the bumper where the fog lamps normally go so I need a not very deep lamp housing - steering it toward LED vs the deeper halogen parabolic housing. The posted ones look pretty well suited for that task.

Aftermarket lights can be added, usually through a dash switch and relay (to carry the power). The ones I have seen/liked as a quality product are LED-based from Rigid; they can be found on Amazon among other places. I don't know which of their units in particular are good as "fog" lights but the ones on the "diffused" beam pattern end of the range might work? I don't know how adaptable different products are to brightness control/dimming.

I have a 2018 Sprinter and what I do is just turn on my parking lights and use them as my "sneak lights". The parking lights are bright enough, yet won't disturb other campers like headlights would. Your daytime driving lights won't come on when you use your parking lights.
