I just finished a head unit, front speaker amp and subwoofer install along with new component speakers. The front speaker amp (90 watt) I powered using the terminal under the drivers seat and the sub (600 watt) I powered directly off the van battery. Both amps use the blue head unit wire to turn on. It took a while to get things adjusted but it now sounds super clean and covers the music spectrum down low too.
