Installed a Trimetric Meter. Just fired it up a couple of hours ago. I installed it in a 2006 Airstream Interstate. Most of my time was consumed with taking out the vent chase and closet floor in order to run the four wires back to shunt. I look forward to knowing the percent full of my batteries instead of guessing based on voltage readings alone.

I bought a set of G-Wagen wheels off another forum member this past weekend, so yesterday I had new rubber installed (4 235/65R18 Kumho Crugen Premium KL33 tyres) and placed them on the vehicle. I wanted to ensure the tyres would exceed the max GVWR (8550 lbs), so they are XL spec with a 110 index rating (2337 lbs). Needless to say, the bumper needed to be trimmed because of rubbing. I like the look. It's *far* nicer than the old steel wheels, at least to my eye.

Having just returned from a trip to the left coast and northward to Vancouver BC I had amassed around 8,000 miles over 3-1/2 weeks time so the Sprinter was in need of an oil change. I got out the Mityvac and changed out the oil. I'm sticking with the Mag 1 FMX 5W-40 European Formula as it's fairly inexpensive and meets MB requirements.

As an aside, sorry I'm posting stuff I did yesterday in the 'what did you do today' thread.

I like the concept of an awning. Perhaps someday I'll opt for one.

Washed my Sprinter 4x4 after 4,000 miles trip to Seattle WA and back to San Diego CA. Since the Sprinter won't fit in a standard garage, I bought one of this Sprinter Cover --> https://www.carautocovers.com/full-c...-5-layers.html and love it. Possibly the best Sprinter low roof 144" WB 4x4 cover on the market.

K71, Who makes the awning? What did it cost?

njsarn, What happens to the antenna when you put the car cover on? How long does it take to put it on, your vehicle is still 8 feet high, needs an install cannon.
