Camp,

Well, I was regretting it, but no longer. Thanks; I owe you one.

Looks like I spoke too soon. The one I ordered arrived broken. Anyone know of another affordable source for these? Otherwise, I think the only other option is $1300+ from Germany.

1. Repairable?

Some parts may be cheaper versus buying whole thing.

2. Time

As more American RVs use the Heki skylights, price may drop.

3. Alternatives

Would be nice to find a glass or more durable hatch. Maybe someone in the marine industry. Big issue is to keep the weight down.

Some James Cooks do not have the skylight--just a solid roof. Or a much smaller skylight.

Can also consider the Heki 3 model (no motor, hand crank).

Hi. Does anyone have a cross member that holds the blackout slider and screen they can part with? Mine’s fragmenting. Need the whole piece that holds both. (Could use a screen too if possible ). Thanks either way!

How soon do you need it? At some point, I am going to replace the internal frame and screen parts from the new Heki 4 window I bought awhile back. I don't need to replace the entire unit yet, so I thought I would just replace the screen and shade parts, since that's all that has failed on my existing unit.

But I haven't found the time to do it yet, and may not for another month or two...
