Default Fiamma awning F65 bracket placement

Hello trying to decide on length awning. 3.7m or 3.4m.

Does anyone have an F65 fitted. I understand the awning fits to the roof brackets where there is sticker on awning that says SUPPORT.

Can anyone tell me roughly how far the first bracket is from the front edge of awning. This is bracket above passenger / sliding door.

Thanks heaps Scott

Hi Scoot are you sure you need an F65, on our High Roof LWB Sprinter we have an F45, I think its mounted with the standard brackets, there are many brackets available for different mounting positions. To late of course if already purchased.

The front edge of my F45 Bracket is set back 13cm from the front end of the awning, and is 2cm forward of the passenger door vertical edge.

(Mainly for F45)

From Mr Google:
The F45 awnings are designed to mount on the side of the vehicle and the F65 awnings are designed to mount on roofs or curved surfaces. However, we do have brackets that will mount F45 awnings to curved surfaces and roofs as well. I think there is no such difference in both of them.Aug 26, 2013

Another option is to fit to roof bars/rack, I have just installed a Rhino 3 bar system and it's fairly easy to mount on the end of the bar, Rhino even do a bracket for this.
I have the Fiamma F45 3m yet to be fitted, as I am building an aluminium frame on top of roof bars to support my solar panels. All in the "to do" list at the moment.

I'm about 90% finished on the interior fitout.

Thanks guys, but forgot to mention it a low roof so F65 I feel is the better way to go with the intended brackets. F45 built to go on the side where it cant go unless brackets are made by the person installing it.

So anyone with F65 s 3.7 or 3.4 and able to measure, greatly appreciated
Scott

Hi great thanks for info. But are you able to let me know the distance from front of awning to where bracket is. I prob put the awning more forward and want to see if I can fit that size awning with bracket placement where I want before I buy it. Cheers for the help. Scott

Thankyou so so much for the info and going the extra mile with an awesome picture. I have spent so much time trying to find this out and ringing fiamma dealers and installers with no luck.
Cheers Scott
