OK I will make a start

I am more interested in the possible 4x4 options. Looking under the FWD I could see double wish bones and coil springs. First thought this is good but the steering rack is behind the diff, right were the pinion would have to go. The fuel tank is across the front where you would put the transfer case. On the plus side the front wheels are stronger and wider.

The RWD is very similar to the early models and would most likely take the existing running gear.
If we had access to the parts bin we could use a mixture of FWD and RWD hardware to make up a front end with better ground clearance. The low floor level would make it hard to place a decent fuel tank.
