I bought a 2018 Promaster, and had it for three weeks before selling for the Sprinter. Mileage was terrible on the Promaster. And, I donít drive like a maniac. Diesel is just a better fuel source. The higher thermal mass will always win. Yes, you can add turbos to gas, but it just isnít the same.

All electric sprinter would be interesting though.

Ah yes, you learn something new everyday

Our "normal" fuel is 95RON which is something like your 91. So it shouldn't be an issue running GDI engines on your 91.
There's no denying that my car likes 98RON though, you can feel the difference (no placebo effect). But at around $6.90/US gallon it doesn't get treated very ofton
