Coolant boiling
Hi
I had coolant leaking issue for couple months.
When I noticed that coolant disappear slowly, I went to a local mechanic, and he found that some hose are leaking. And he changed it with new coolant reservoir.
However at that time, he used incorrect fitting(He does use . When I drove, the fitting was disassembled, and all coolant is gone, and……. Finally I figured out, and I got right fitting and, changed it myself.
However after just few days,, coolant disappeared again, so I went to the same Mechanic, and he told me that he did something. And same issue happen again, and I went to the Mechanic, and he told me that he did something again.
He never fixed the issue. Very dissapointed. However the reason I kept using him was because he solved the other issue I had, and he is the cheapest option in my area. It is very hard to find good sprinter Mechanic who charge reasonable in LA area.
And yesterday, when my father drove to SD from LA, he saw that smoke is coming from hood, so he stopped, and opened the hood, and he saw smoke is coming from coolant reservoir. He told me that the smoke exactly coming from center area. Plz check a photo that I attached. (Smoke came from Red circle area).
Please let me know possible reason why coolant is vaporized and disappears, and the possible way to fix.
My sprinter is 2007 3500 diesel dodge sprinter with 14’ box, about 200000 miles

BTW, can you let me know the which maintain do we have to do for the miles except regular oil and filter change?
I heard that we might need to change engine belt. Are there any other thing?
And, engine oil that the mechanic use is 5W-40. I attached the picture of the label. Plz let me know if it is good for my sprinter.
As I know, it is only good for T1N, not NCV3.
Thank you in advance!
