I can certainly see that skipping the side window installation equipment would defer some expense.

Ordered my Cargo 4x4 with rear door windows and 2nd row glass. headliner. everything a Crew has with out the rear seat. Price is close to the same as ordering a crew. SC build

Cant get swivel seats with crew or adding rear seat

My 170 Passenger was built in Charleston 4 weeks ago so they are not building cargo only.
As for the hurricane, my van has been sitting at the factory for 4 weeks waiting to go to processing, then shipped down here to Florida. Hope it is ok where they have it stored. No idea what takes them so long to deliver them.

FWIW... We thought our 2019 Cargo would be built in Charleston....Ordered in December. It was built in March in Germany. Delivered in August....

That is painful. Ordering at beginning of model year, paying model year price only to not get the vehicle until the next model year comes out. Similar happened to me by my local Bham dealer. After 9 months of excuses, I discovered Mercedes of Mobile. MB of Mobile helped me out and got me a Metris. Best most honest dealership is worth 5 hours drive each direction.
