Turbo resonator bracket

Hi - the aluminum bracket holding the black plastic turbo resonator on my sprinter broke - is there a part number for this?

What year/engine?

I just had the resonator bracket out on my 2008.. is it this one? A 642 016 10 38

Out of curiousity- can you tell us more about how this happened? Was one of the hold down bolts for the bracket broken off? Was the resonator forcibly ejected when the bracket snapped?

2008 Sprinter - 650k miles - driver said that he heard a hissing sound whenever he pressed the throttle. On examination, found that the black resonator had popped out of the aluminum pipe outlet housing from the turbo. We aligned up everything and tightened up the bolts to find it did it again after 2 days. I examined the setup this time and found that the bracket holding the resonator was loose and discovered the bracket was broken. It looks to be made of pot metal. Ordered it from the dealer for around $40.
