Very intrigued....Some questions:

  • Really only 11,000 miles? And how many owners?
  • How does the tube from the A/C condenser go inside the van? A photo would be great - I'd have to take the rear carrier off so the A/C would probably come out and I'd have to seal everything up if there is a hole.
  • What kind of insulation did you use?
  • This probably seems stupid but how do you access the under-bed steel storage? Seems like you'd have to crawl under there almost all the way to actually use them.

Thanks!

-11,160 miles right now, only used for camping trips.
-I am the original owner.
-the liquid, suction, power, and condensate drain all go though a 3” hole drilled in the floor of the van in the rear most area behind the driver side wheel well. It can easily be sealed if the AC is removed and cargo carrier is removed.
-I used two layers of reflectix insulation with 1” rigid foam
strips between them to form an air gap. I used this method behind the headliners and the wall and door panels.
-I do crawl under the bed to get to the toolboxes, not the best but it has worked for me so far. With a few bolts, the toolboxes can be removed and the bed can stay.

If you are interested, text me and I can send you more high resolution photos.
