the factory lines are steel and prone to rusting
Replace them with copper nickel that are easier to form and corrosion resistant

And double flare- at least on American made vehicles. Rigid makes one.

Yes.....brakes are double flare and there are variations on type and angle etc

Actually USA and Euro are quite different. USA = double flare. Euro - bubble flare. They don't mix well... at all.
