Default Best front struts for mostly onroad with a bit of offroad (rear wheel drive)

2007 extended rear wheel drive

My stock front struts are gone. I am thinking of replacing them. What is suggested?

Is it okay to just put on aftermarket front struts for now and upgrade the rear later?

Thanks!

I have a 2011 2500, 144" standard height trade van converted to a camper.

I bought a set of Monroe HD struts and shocks. The replacement shocks ones are definitely beefier than what was there. The struts seem to be equivalent to the stock units. I am happy with them so far but only have put 3000 kms on them. The handling on gravel roads is as good as expected on the van. The price was good from Rock Auto.
