Default Radio harness wiring.

I have a 2019 144 HR gas cargo, my first Sprinter, and am still learning my way around how to get the technical info I need to do my conversion. This forum has proven tremendously helpful already and I look forward to when I get far enough along that I can contribute.

In the meantime, I'm trying to understand how to get schematics/wiring information for my van. My request to purchase a shop service manual when I bought the van and was met with a blank stare. I see references to sprintertekinfo.com as being the MB portal for technical data, but the site appears broken - at least to my browser. I'm happy to pay for a manual or access to one, I just don't know the procedure for getting it, or if it's even possible.

To the point at hand... I've pulled the base radio out and have a new Alpine head unit that I wish to install. I can't locate either the OEM Visteon radio harness wiring diagram or a description of the wire colors going to the unit in the 2019 Sprinter. Surely this is documented somewhere?

Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hmmm, if its a base styled radio the pin out should be the universal standard. Is there no chart on the top of the radio. A lot of factory radios used to have stickers on the top or bottom which showed the color code chart.

There is indeed a sticker, but no wiring info. The wire colors don't match any descriptions from prior years models that I've found online.

Wow, that company designs some impressive mods for the VS30 electronics. ^^

They've got one device that allows you to run your 360 degree camera on demand, rather than when MB thinks you should be using it.

Thanks. I'd seen that kit, but I believe that's for vehicles with no radio. If you examine the pictures, none of the 3 components shown relate to the existing vehicle radio harness, and there is no mention of speaker wiring. I think those 3 harnesses are for getting power, connecting to the antenna and extending the camera feed from the rear view mirror. The same 3 components are included in their full Alpine Halo9 kit which includes speakers:

This is for installation in a vehicle with no radio at all.
