Horn connector

Just bought A6395400076 to replace the OEM horn, and found that, at some point, a previous owner had already replaced the horn with a non OEM horn, so I don't have the OEM connector this replacement horn presumes I have.

Does anyone have any clue what connector goes to this horn? image attached

You might try sending a private message to member MillionMileSprinter ... he has a bunch of "wrecks" he can pull oddball parts from

A Treble plug, https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2-P...ring-dial-plug-connector-for/32812512310.html. This one from Amazon looks the same https://www.amazon.com/MUYI-Waterpr...989570&sr=8-3&keywords=2+pin+female+connector. Amazon has quite a few choices https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_...in+Way+16+AWG+Waterproof+Connector+Wire+1.5mm. I didn't look at Ebay but you can probably find there as well.

I replaced my horn but did not cut the MB plug off to do it. I made connectors that worked with the plug so I could leave it in place in case I ever sold it. I didn't want new owners to have the same issue that you have.

I’m not sure those are the same. If you note the connection in the picture I posted, it seems to have a small notch on one side of the opening.

You might be able to modify with a dremel tool or grinder. Or just buy the separate pin connectors, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075RHZNB...ae61-b100dea5fc61&ie=UTF8&qid=1534020942&sr=2 or https://www.amazon.com/Hilitchi-800...qid=1534021040&sr=8-6&keywords=pin+connectors, and make the connector you need with electrical tape or hot glue. Them wrap the connection with Xtreme tape, https://www.amazon.com/X-Treme-Tape...34021266&sr=8-2&keywords=xtreme+tape+silicone, to waterproof it and your in business.

Great idea. I’ll give this another earnest search and probably use your approach because this connector seems to be absolute unobtainium.

Thank you for the helpful comment but if it were that easy, I suspect you could have simply pointed me to the answer. I’ve looked; could not find.
Here ya go kind sir, easy peezy. My apologies for the delay, busy spoon feeding others. (sorry, just can't restrain myself).

I installed dual horns from a Chevy Silverado. ACDELCO D1970F. The support for the original horn was about an inch too short so replaced it with some bar stock. The bracket I made and the bracket that came with the horn were both bent to get the assembly close to the radiator. Nothing rubs. The sprinter horn connector turned out to be a Metri-Pack 280 (I source from Del City). The Silverado connector wasn't quite right so I trimmed the housing and pins, and sealed the stub with liquid tape. I tapped into the wiring between the two horns and used #16 wire for my extension to the existing sprinter connector. I oriented the horns to best prevent water intrusion.
