Mackai,
Guess you missed all the "fun" tracking part of your Sprinter's long voyage if the dealer did not/could not tell you which
ship or which shipping line brought your Sprinter from Bremerhaven, Germany to other European Ports, probably
2 or more ports on the East Coast USA (SC Ports Charleston. SC being one of them) then thru the Panama Canal
and perhaps a port or 2 on the West Coast before being off loaded in LA/LB and trucked over the the VPC on Lakewood
Blvd. at the West Coast VPC.
Kinda fun if you know which ship it's on.
Must be a passenger or crew van, otherwise it would have been re-assembled
at the VPC RA plant in Ladson, SC and trucked (or by rail) across the US.
Roger

Does anyone know if it’s possible to contact the VPC to find out if the vehicle is on its way to my dealership?

If your dealer can't/won't make that call and give you a solid ETA, pretty sure no one at the VPC is going provide any info at all!

Dealer should know when the vehicle clears VPC and is ready to ship. At least that is what mine told me. It's one of two pieces of shipping information he is will to give me. The other is that is should be about 28 days from SC to WA.

I’ve called the VPC and always get security/front desk and am always told they can’t reach anyone in the “back.” I got through to someone in the “back” last week and they couldn’t find any info associated with my VIN and told me they would do some research and give me a call - never got a call. It’s very frustrating to have no idea where the van is and when I could roughly expect to have it

Hmmmm .... just for fun, you could try entering your VIN to the free datacard sites (which update with different schedules), just to see if any of them have it (not delivering info, but the datacard itself):
http://carinfo.kiev.ua/cars/vin/mercedes/vin_check <--datacards
https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Mercedes-Benz <-- datacards
https://www.datamb.com/ <-- datacards

So I just spoke to the VPC in Long Beach and was told that they don’t process any sprinter vans any longer. This is very strange because my invoice shows Long Beach as the VPC. I don’t know what to think anymore
