I was telling Dean about my "Orange RV" idea and that made him laughed but then he told me that I might be on to something here because 10 of 14 clients who came recently to the LTV factory chose to go with the Expresso Brown and White walls.

Looks like my friend and I are not the only ones who are tired of the old RV colors.

I think that the next cabinet color frenzy will be RED WOOD.

My friend took the pic of the Unity with Expresso Brown and changed the color to red. This is how it looks.

Expresso Brown:

Red wood:

What do you think? You think it will catch up?

That's not red... it's maroon... and IMHO it's ugly... (and there is much maroon in my stick house) Actually I think it looks like Mahogany. It is way too dark for an RV interior. It would be like a cave.

I didn't say it was pure red like "Ferrari Red" here but in the dark red tint.

In fact, it's LESS dark then Expresso wood that the majority of LTV clients are going for right now.

Mahogany red is the most beautiful tint of red and the #1 wood color the business owners are going for when they buy furniture.

Looks a bit like Rosewood, which is mega-classy in the yacht world.
That's right.

I think this is the next wave of cabinet colors that RV will soon move to.

When you think about it, it's just red tint that you put to color the wood. Instead of orange (cherry), clear (maple) or brown (expresso) tints, it will be red like mahogany.

Then the next level will be to put gloss on everything (walls, table, cabinets, etc).

Just my :2cents:

I like that Mahogany Shaker pic. Except for the handles, the cabinets looks exactly like the ones in my kitchen - built new in 1986.

We definitely have a male inability to recognize and name colors here. No LTV cabinetry is "orange" and that photo above isn't "red." LOL

It's all a matter of taste... and my response to that original photo above is... blech. I remember when I was growing up we had a mahogany piano from the '40s. Ugly thing... (great sound though)
