Default Additional House Batteries

Just purchased a 2017 L Melbourne on the Mercedes chassis. The factory house battery isn't very big. Just wondering if anyone has put an additional battery in the engine compartment on the drivers side above the front wheel. Manual says there is an option. Dealer can't seem to help and Mercedes wasn't much help either.

Any help will sure be appreciated.....

Default Re: Additional House Batteries

There have been a couple of other recent threads about that situation (i forget how they played out, or if we ever heard "Done!")

Certainly you can physically do it, there's the moderate hassle of running (thick) wires to and fro, putting the same type/capacity battery in both spots, perhaps increasing the current capacity of the isolation relay, etc etc.

Do you already have the Aux Battery Tray there in the engine compartment?
