Very good points. When I built my first van a very wise engineer told me to treat anything you put behind the seats of your campervan as cargo just like any other cargo. Make sure its secured and imagine what it would look like if the van was rolling after being hit from the side. Scary to think about, but an accident is simply an accident. I wonder if you get your van registered as an RV if the rules change, because they are plenty of RV's out there that are built with way less quality then any van being built by this crowd.
