Default Importing sprinter to BC

Hey guys. i have shipped a german sprinter van from europe to halifax and am driving it to vancouver. I am planning on importing it and registering and insuring it in BC vancouver once im there. Has anyone else done something simlar? Is it easy to pass the inspection? Do I have a chance of insuring it here?

Any feedback would be appreciated

Daniel

Here are the rules: http://www.tc.gc.ca/en/services/road...g-vehicle.html

Specifically: http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/motorvehicle...-index-446.htm

As i (quickly) read the rules: if you didn't jump through the hoops before landing the Sprinter in Halifax, the first thing you'll have to do is leave Canada, get the clearance (and pay fees) and then bring it back in. I doubt you can convert a "drive through" to a "remain" while already in the country.
