Cool documentary, thanks for posting. Not sure what the future of diesel may be but I'm glad I had the chance to have one. Not only do I like the driving experience of the diesel, I figured for every 50,000 miles I drive I save a little over $4,000 in fuel costs compared to a gas van.

Thanks for that, Vic. Well produced. That Deltic engine was truly amazing.

Conspicuous by its absence, for me at least, was any mention of the GM two-stroke diesel. :idunno:

I recall a Chief would remark about the boat diesels at idle. "Hear that. It's sayin' meat and potatoes, meat and potatoes, meat and potatoes. That's an engine that will do work."
